We are planning a ratings tournament for the 23/24th of February at Loam Island this will hopefully be a ratings capable event so those that are planning to qualify for Nationals will be able to do so, stay tuned for more details.

Our biggest Tournament for the year was held on 10 and 11 Nov 12, it was a huge success with in excess of 60 skiers. Our weekend concluded with a grand finale event being the inaugual Croc Run, which was the top 6 skiers from the weekends rounds in a shootout. The eventual winner was Greg (Coops) Cooper from Barron River, winner with 1 @ 12mtr.
Austin Abel, No 16 in the world rankings for 2011 conducted two coaching clincs for the TWSC in Jan 12; the coaching proved to be a huge success with significant improvements for all skiiers. TWSC hosted the QLD Titles and National Titles in Apr 2011. Both events were a huge success with it being the first time that all States were represented at an Australian National Titles.
TWSC hosted the Barron River Water Ski Club at an interclub Tournament, we had in excess of 30 skiers from across the Northern and Central Queensland Regions attend, with very positive feedback from everyone all commiting to come back again. The skiers that attended were ranging in age from 8 years to our significantly over 35 class skiers, skiers challenged themselves to the Full Course and the Mini Course accross the weekened depending on skill levels, with all skiers having a minimum 4 passes each.
Emma Sheers club development day held 14th and 15th March 2009. A huge weekend with amazing results all skiers should be congratulated on their performances; Emma Sheers is simply amazing and we owe her a huge thank you, can't wait to get her back and show her what the club can do.
Joel Wing Training Day; a master of his craft Joel is amasing to watch and listen to when he is passing on his lessons, don't miss the next time we get Joel on the water, he can assist us in all disiplines.
Barron River come and try Tournament - This is a club that will continue to grow and work with the TWSC to enhance the sport in the NQ and FNQ regions. If your heading to Tinaroo please give them a call and say hello, I think they would get the vote for the friendliest club in FNQ, they are an excellent affiliate for our club.
TWSC regularly host member social days, these are designed to encourage participation from all disiplines of skiing and all levels of ability, the club aims to hold a number of these across the year.
